Features:
- Tamriel_Data has served as the shared asset repository for major TESIII projects such as Tamriel Rebuilt, Project Cyrodiil, Skyrim: Home of the Nords, and others, for nearly 10 years.
- Tamriel_Data can be used as a master file for all TESIII mods; please refer to the documentation in the download for detailed information on permissions.
- Deprecated assets are kept in the repository (with the optional ability to hide via CSSE) to greatly reduce the possibility that a mod utilizing Tamriel_Data will break following future asset updates.
- All assets submitted for inclusion in Tamriel_Data undergo a review process to ensure adherence to our project guidelines.
Installation Instructions:
- AVOID SLOW INSTALLATION: After downloading the . 7z file, use a compatible program such as 7zip to "Extract" the files into a new folder, then drag those extracted files into your Data Files folder.
- Please note that we can't guarantee that any updates to Tamriel_Data won't break prior save files. We have included a filepatcher and readme in the Docs folder of the download which can be used to attempt to patch your save files.
Requirements:
- BSA registration is no longer a requirement!
- Tamriel_Data requires Morrowind.esm, Tribunal.esm, and Bloodmoon.esm to be active in your load order and timestamped before 1/1/2012 00:00:0000. Most modern installations of TESIII satisfy this requirement by default, so check your load order if you run into any issues.
- Neither MWSE Lua nor OpenMW Lua is required, but either is highly recommended to take advantage of custom spells, weather, sounds, and more. As of August 2026, not all features available in MWSE Lua are currently present in OpenMW Lua.
- CSSE is highly recommended to greatly improve the Construction Set experience.
