Description

Vanilla towns are clearly not up to modern standard, and rather than waste time adding yet another option to the pile for people to argue over which overhauls are best, the most sensible answer was clear: cut them.

This also improves performance by removing thousands of references from the game space.

  []... Adjusts the main quest to still be playable, in spite of it all.[/]

  []... And changes hundreds of lines of dialogue to match.[/]

  Fully playable but not at all balanced, and there is significantly less content than vanilla. For optimization reasons? Obviously?

  Attempts have been made to make the world still internally consistent, but the rewritten main quest involves some humourous handwaving.

  Compatibility

  Absolutely not.

  This mod renders most of the base game quests unplayable or borderline unplayable. Any mod that depends upon existing towns, dungeons, specific NPCs etc. is highly unlikely to work.

  Might be fun with a survival mod, has not been testing with any and lack of merchants may be an issue.

  Notes

  This mod is in no way affiliated with Tamriel Rebuilt, which is a mod that you might want to actually use.

  Please do report any bugs or dialogue that still references populated places (not, just e.g. "Go to Balmora" which is of course the name of a flood plain and not a town), this mod is intended to be "satirical" but I would like it to make sense in its own bizarreo-world.
