Sturdy Steed - OpenMw Lua

I noticed most of the current mount mods rely on clothing tricks to simulate 3rd person legs. This mod, inspired by MadMax's horse riding scripts, lets you ride a horse and see yourself in 3rd person, and dismount without losing your pants/shoes, requires OpenMw. The horse is in Seyda Neen, ready to go.

• Activate to mount\dismount

• Press caps lock to auto move\stop

• Press shift to move manually

• Ctrl while moving to switch between trot/gallop

This is a very simple implementation, there's no mounted combat, no companion option, and no teleport. Just straight ridin.

Spawn a completely new steed, "placeatpc trustysteed2 1 120 1 1"

or, "placeatpc trustysteed 1 120 1 1"

Keep it forever via H, a new horse whistle.

The last horse you rode will respond to the whistle.

Third person is animated. Use W-A-S-D to traverse,

and watch the horse smoothly turn and animate to your heart's content.

Talk to any npc, ask them "Ride with me?", and hop on your horse. They'll get on

behind you and stick with you till you dismount.

Mounted combat is now supported.

This is still beta, subject to change, and isn't perfect.

Speaking of beta, there's a bonus .esp included, along with a .omwscript of the

same name, active both in your load order, and spawn a few horses around town,

Grand Theft Horse will ensue.
