📋 About This Mod
Sol's Sixth House Amulet
The Sixth House Amulet's default "corprus_amulet" enchantment is literally basically useless. Drain your personality for 5 seconds. Really? How about we amp it up, based on the actual effects of the divine disease. Corprus buffs your strength and endurance, while draining your intelligence, willpower, speed, and personality, and this ramps up the longer you go uncured.
So let's give you a Sujamma-level strength and endurance buff to temp you into tapping into the amulet's power, but damage the negatively impacted stats by 1-5 to really lean into the corruption factor, and make it a bit of a gamble. Maybe this is a bit too much damage. The default amulet also has a cost/capacity of 5/25, which recharges far too quickly and gives you no reason to collect multiple, so let's up that to 50/250. Maybe it needs to be increased further.
This mod should work with any version of morrowind. I made it mostly using openMW CS, and I did
some testing on vanilla, and cleaned it etc.
Unzip the mod into your datafiles or something. Standard .esp install rules, I imagine.
If you have any bugs, please let me know.
This will conflict with any mod that affects the enchantment on the basic sixth house amulet. If loaded later, it will replace the other mod's enchantment. It does nothing else.
Sol for the mod. Bodz for the idea to damage instead of drain. Vengyre for balance feedback. Shigbit for interesting ideas.

✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 154 endorsements and over 40k downloads—clearly resonates with players.
- Lore-friendly twist that makes a previously useless item actually worth picking up.
- Simple and focused: does one thing and does it well.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2023—might not be compatible with the latest Morrowind patches or mod setups.
- Only affects Sixth House amulets, so if you're not planning to use them, this mod won't matter to you.
For Morrowind players who enjoy lore-immersive item enhancements and want a reason to actually wear those creepy amulets. Skip if you're looking for broader gameplay overhauls—this is a single-item tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Morrowind Mod Manager or Wrye Mash, just drop the mod into your mods folder and activate it—no extra steps.
- Make sure to check the mod's readme or forum posts for any compatibility notes, since the author didn't include install instructions here.
- Test the amulet's enchantment on a save before committing—it's 'dangerous' by design, so you might want to quicksave first.
