This mod adds a set of clothing with scripted enchantments designed for pure mage characters and a short quest to acquire them. I love playing pure mages, but Morrowind, like Daggerfall before it, isn't really designed to make that easy (or sometimes even fun). These clothes are my attempt to make magic-only gameplay a little more fun.

The clothing is based on the blue expensive clothing set, and provides enchantments that grow in power as your spellcasting and enchanting skills increase. This gives you a reason to dedicated yourself to leveling your enchanting skill.

To start the quest, talk to the mages in Balmora about a "stolen soul gem".

At the minimum stats required to get a benefit from each piece of clothing (Alteration, Illusion, Mysticism, and Restoration at 25), the set will provide:

Spell Absorption 10

Fortify Maximum Magicka 0. 1x Intelligence

Resist Fire/Frost/Shock/Magicka/Poision 10%

Restore Fatigue 1

Sanctuary 10

At the maximum stats (Enchanting 100; Alteration, Illusion, Mysticism, and Restoration at 75+), the set will provide:

Spell Absorption 50

Fortify Maximum Magicka 1. 5x Intelligence

Restore Magicka 5

Resist Fire/Frost/Shock/Magicka/Poision 50%

Restore Fatigue 10

Restore Health 5

Sanctuary 75

The included screenshot shows the required skill for each clothing item and the enchantment power at each spellcasting + enchanting level. The enchantments might be a little overpowered if combined with a full set of enchanted armor; use your own judgement.

Requirements:

This mod requires Tribunal for scripting functions.

Installation:

Manual installation - copy the esp to your Data Files folder.

This mod has been cleaned of all "dirty references."
