📋 About This Mod
Updated for 7. 1 - https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/58419
Basically, I used MW Mesh Generator to generate grass for the terrain edits made by Rebirth.
I also made some manual adjustments in the Construction Set to trim back overgrown grass in all named cells. There will likely still be areas that need further cleanup. You may occasionally find grass clipping into objects such as stairs, bridges, or other structures.
Requires Aesthesia Groundcover - grass mod textures and meshes folders to be placed in data files as normal.
If you are using OpenMW, place my .omwaddon into Documents\My Games\OpenMW\Data. You may need to create the Data folder.
Then add the line "groundcover=RebirthGrass.omwaddon" to your openmw.cfg located in Documents\My Games\OpenMW. Your file should look something like this:
fallback-archive=Morrowind.bsa
fallback-archive=Tribunal.bsa
fallback-archive=Bloodmoon.bsa
groundcover=Rebirth Grass.omwaddon
Next, open settings.cfg in the same folder (Documents\My Games\OpenMW) and add:
enabled = true
density = 1. 0
rendering distance = 14000
stomp intensity = 1
You can adjust these settings to your preference. Density controls how thick the grass is, rendering distance controls how far away grass is visible, and stomp intensity controls how much the grass reacts when you move through it.
If you are not using OpenMW, rename RebirthGrass.omwaddon to RebirthGrass.esp and generate groundcover using MGE XE. (Untested)
All credit goes to MW Mesh Generator, Aesthesia Groundcover - grass mod and Morrowind rebirth.
