QuickKey Outlander - MWSE

Hot Keys are a wonderful thing. They allow for very easy access to healing/teleportation/whatever you need. But they're so tedious to set...

Not anymore. With this mod, there are 3 different ways to set them in a few clicks, and the choice is yours.

1/ Equipped Key

By pressing a configurable key, your currently equipped Weapon and Spell/Enchanted Item will be immediatly set as Hot Key 2 and 3, the easiest to access with a WASD movement control.

2/ HotKey Holding

Hold the desired HotKey and click on an item in your inventory or a Spell in your magic menu: They will be immediately bound to the pressed Key.

3/ Configurable Access

By default, these ones are set to Z for Items and X for Spells/Enchants, and can be configured in the MCM.

Hold these keys and click on an item in your inventory/a spell in your magic menu: They will be automatically bound to the first free HotKey available. If there are none, they'll replace the older ones.

By holding the same keys and clicking on an item already bound to a hotkey, you can debind it and thus free that hotkey for something else.

Optionnal/ Tooltip Info

Items bound to hotkeys will display their current slot in their tooltip. Combining this with the previous features, you will probably never need to press F1 ever again.

This is fully customizable, from the color, to the position. You can also disable it if you don't like to overcrowd your menus.

Incompatibilities

This mod is not (yet) fully compatible with Virnetch's.

It will work for the vanilla Hotkeys, but not with the one his mod adds.

This mod relies on MWSE and thus is not compatible with OpenMW.

Known Issues

Scrolls are currently (April 18th 2022) not bindable using this mod. An oncoming MWSE update is supposed to fix it soon - but I have no idea when.
