Playable Almalexia Outfit

DESCRIPTION

This mod lets you loot Almalexia's outfit after you kill her.

Plangkye's Better Almalexia replaced Almalexia with a Better Bodies-inspired model. An additional plugin let the player loot the armor off her body.

I had a few insignificant issues with the mod that I didn't know how to solve by my own, namely that the outfit consistent of multiple parts.

Melchior Dahrk's Dagoth Almalexia Outfit lacked this issue entirely, which is why I used it as a base for a simple conversion of Plangkye's mod: essentially all I did was change his textures for the ones on Plangkye's mod and modified his .esp.

I've made an additional icon for Almalexia's mask (previously the same icon was used for her dress and mask in Plangkye's original Better Almalexia). papill6n has given me permission to also include his edited texture of Almalexia's warrior mask eyes, which adds the cat-like pupils it had in the vanilla game. They are available as an optional patch that requires the Core files.

The equipment is Medium Armor. The stats are as follows:

Almalexia Mask

- Weight: 3. 50

- Value: 5000

- Health: 500

- Enchantment: 50

Almalexia War-Dress

- Weight: 27. 00

- Armor: 75

- Value: 20000

- Health: 5000

- Enchantment: 1000

Almalexia Outfit

- Weight: 27. 00

- Armor: 80

- Value: 25000

- Health: 5000

- Enchantment: 1050

REQUIREMENTS

The Tribunal expansion is obviously required.

You will also need Better Bodies. I recommend Better Bodies ZW. Worth mentioning is that both nude and underwear versions will work just fine.

INSTALLATION

This mod was packaged for BAIN installation. I recommend using a mod manager to install this mod, but it can also be installed manually.

00 Core: contains the necessary files to make Almalexia's outfit lootable.

01 Papill6n's Warrior Mask Eyes: contains the texture file to give Almalexia's warrior mask cat pupils.

Should you install this mod manually, you must extract the .zip to your Morrowind/Data Files directory. All .nif files should end up in Meshes\bb_alma, all .dds files should end up in Textures\bb_alma, and the .tga should end up in Icons\bb_alma. If you want Almalexia's mask to have cat pupils, simply install the Textures folder on folder 01 on top of the contents of folder 00 Core.

To obtain her outfit you must kill Almalexia. I wouldn't be surprised if some pickpocketing worked as well. Alternatively, you can use the following console commands to add the outfit to your inventory:

player->additem "alm_a_dress" 1

player->additem "alm_a_mask" 1
