📋 About This Mod
This is part of a series of mods to overhaul Morrowind's appearance to have a stylized painterly aesthetic. There are several full texture packs and then a Kuwahara based DOF shader that gives distant objects a painterly effect.

Analog Film Shaders for OpenMW
This mod contains both Watercolor Retextures and SSS for a variety of Head/Body mods in MacKom's style, as well as SSS textures for Vanilla heads. To use the SSS effect just download the relevant mod and only enable the Specular textures. For most of the heads the watercolor effect is very subtle so it might even fit fine with less stylized texture packs. I've also included a "More Watercolor" folder in many of them, pick either the regular diffuse or More Watercolor depending on how stylized you want it.
All of the SSS effects require Rafael's newest PBR shaders, but the watercolor retextures and normals maps are compatible with OpenMW and Morrowind.exe without any PBR requirement.

- Dandions Mackom Stlye Fixed Normals for openmw and TES3MP. It's an OpenMW patch which includes Dandion's Project HEADS - Missing MacKom-Like Heads for TR and Dandion's MacKom-Like Heads which you should use instead for the watercolor in vanilla Morrowind.

All credit to the original mod authors, only retextures are here and no meshes so you still need the relevant mods for these patches to work.
PBR SSS Heads adds subsurface scattering maps for all vanilla and Mackom's heads, including TD patches, plus better bodies and watercolor patches for modded heads. A niche cosmetic mod with 14 endorsements and 1,140 downloads, last updated August 2025.
