📋 About This Mod
Orcish Retexture by Joe v1. 2
A retexture for the Orcish Helmet ,Armor and tower shield. replaces these files without esm so make backups.. Or at least check screenshots to see if you want this in your game in place of vanilla.
I just wanted to make an armor mod for the orcish helmet to remove that annoying white spot on the vanilla helmet but wound up doing this. I like it and hope you do too
Changes in 1. 1 fixed mipmaps. Changes in 1. 2 took Pherim's advice and worked with the optimise program to fix textures..also worked on boots. Installation, Drop data files folder into your Morrowind directory and overwrite all when prompted....
Let me know what you think...

- Community favorite with 1,305 endorsements and 83,000 downloads
- Simple texture swap—no plugin management needed
- Works for both male and female Orcish armor
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2015, so it may not be optimized for newer Skyrim versions
- Author warns to make backups, as it overwrites original files

For Skyrim players who want a fresh take on Orcish gear without messing with load orders. If you're tired of the default rusty look and want something cleaner, this is a quick fix. Skip if you're on Special Edition or want more dramatic changes—this is purely a texture swap.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it replaces textures directly, copy the files into your Data folder and let them overwrite—no mod manager needed.
- If you're using a mod manager, install it as a regular mod and let it overwrite the originals.
- Check the screenshots on the mod page before installing to see if you like the new look.
