📋 About This Mod
Description
Small function that allows you to sit on any stool, chair, bench or throne by your usual activation key.
Main features
Look at the chair, press activation key to seat and same key to get up. If you are in FPV, camera will switch into the third person view.
Looking better if you also enable the 360 walking in openmw camera settings.
Sitting on chairs also boosts the fatigue regeneration.
Notice: As in The Sitting Mod OpenMW lua hotkeys you'll need to start new game to play sitting animation. It should works fine if you already use The Sitting Mod OpenMW lua hotkeys or The Sitting Mod.
There are still some chairs with backs that don't work properly (they push the character out). These are chairs that are placed under tables. Most of the chairs are working correctly, but some are still WIP.
Requirements
After new game start and making new save you can disable sittingonchairs. ESP and no longer activate it (until new character creation).

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Simple and functional—no complex setup, just sit down
- Adds a nice touch of realism for roleplayers
- Small but active community (39 endorsements, 861 downloads)
⚠️ Cons
- Only works with OpenMW, not the original Morrowind engine
- Limited to sitting—no other animations or interactions
For Morrowind players using OpenMW who want to add a bit of immersion by sitting on chairs and thrones. Great for roleplayers who like to take breaks in taverns or palaces. Skip if you're on the original engine or want more extensive animation mods.
💡 Beginner Tips

- Place the mod files in your OpenMW data directory and enable it in the launcher's content list.
- Test sitting on a chair in the first town to confirm it works before adding other mods.
