(OpenMW) Lua Bounty Hunter

Lua Bounty Hunter (OpenMW 0. 50+)

This mod is designed to work in tandem with "Gothic Style Knockout" to provide a functional bounty hunting feature.

Enabling 'Use Additional Animation Sources'  in the launcher's settings is required.

Enabling Smooth Animation Transitions in the launcher's settings is strongly recommended.

Requirements

OpenMW 0. 50 or newer.

Gothic Style Knockout mod.

Capture Mechanics: Arrest criminals (who's a criminal is set in GKO: basically criminals are hostile NPCs with original high fight value) knocked out via GKO. They will follow you to a supported garrison.

Dynamic Rewards: Earn gold based on the prisoner's level. Default 50 gold per criminal's level, can be upped.

Escape System: Long journeys increase the chance of an escape attempt.  If you leave a prisoner behind (change cells without them), they will escape after 10 seconds.

Prison Slots: Instead of disabling NPCs, this mod teleports them to cells, so you can visit them. Forts have limited cell capacity. Choose wisely whom to capture.

Combat Logic: Prisoners may turn on you if your health drops too low during the escort. If they do so, you can't knock them out anymore, so be quick to escort them.

How to Play

0. Enable BH Compatibility and Fight Threshold in GKO settings.

1. Knock out an NPC using a non-magical weapon.

2. If the NPC meets the minimum level requirement (default level 3), they will be arrested and follow you.

3. Escort them to a supported Fort (e.g. Moonmoth, Buckmoth, Pelagiad, Hawkmoth). TR forts are supported. You can also add your own locations to bh_shared.lua

4. Approach the reward NPC to claim your reward.

5. The prisoner will be teleported to the fort's prison cells.

You don't need to install them, but if you do, they will appear as valid prisons.
