(OpenMW) Hidden Traps

This mod removes traps and reapplies them upon activation of a trapped object (doors and containers). Activate it with a probe in your hand to reveal the trap if the option 'Probe Always Reveals' is enabled. Alternatively, you have a chance to detect a trap using your Agility and Security skills.

For instance, 50 Security and 50 Agility give you a 43% chance of revealing a trap. If the option 'Probe Always Reveals' is disabled, probes give you a better chance of revealing a trap instead of outright exposing it.

Masters of magic can learn spells used in traps (configurable, can be disabled).

Hidden traps can be interacted with using  Spells of Morrowind - Vol. 1 - Trap Handling (OpenMW).

Objects that should not be touched live in EXCLUDE_IDS in htraps_shared.lua

If using together with Interactions Animated, make sure you load Hidden Traps lower than it. And make sure IA is updated to at least 1. 1

If using together with Quickloot, make sure you load Hidden Traps lower than it. And update it to at least 2. 0

If using together with Brute Force, make sure it's updated it to 1. 5. 2 or newer.

This mod does not rebalance traps. For that, use Meaningful Traps or Spells of Morrowind - Vol. 1 - Trap Handling (OpenMW).

Before removing the mod from the game, make sure to disable it in the settings first. It will reveal hidden traps.
