[*]Animated Morrowind OpenMW + BCOM Patch
A compact immersion mod for OpenMW that adds hunger and thirst needs to NPCs, making them eat and drink, with visible mood changes. With 41 endorsements and recent updates, it's a niche but functional addition for players seeking more living world behavior.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny and focused – does exactly what it says without bloat.
- Recent update (July 2026) means it's likely compatible with current OpenMW builds.
- Adds a layer of life to towns – no more static NPCs standing around forever.
⚠️ Cons
- Very low endorsement count (41) – might be buggy or not widely tested.
- Only for OpenMW – if you're on vanilla Morrowind, this won't help you.
For Morrowind players using OpenMW who want a bit more life in their NPCs. If you're into immersion mods that make the world feel reactive, this is a neat little addition. Skip if you're on vanilla Morrowind or want something more substantial.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you're running OpenMW – this mod won't work with the original Morrowind executable.
- Since it's a simple mod, just drop the files into your OpenMW data directory and enable it in the launcher.
- Watch NPCs in crowded areas like Balmora to see the hunger effects quickly.
