Descriptions

These are Personal Mods, and may or may not change

Cinemax DoF

Depth of Field Adds cinematic depth of field to Morrowind via MWSE and MGE XE, with crosshair-based autofocus that smoothly pulls focus onto whatever you're looking at — just like a real camera. Tune distance blur, focus speed, autofocus strength, and blur intensity right in-game through the MCM. Lightweight, fully configurable, and built to make exploration and scenes feel more filmic.

Eternal Shine

(Lighting Overhaul)

An MWSE-powered volumetric lighting overhaul for Morrowind, running on MGE XE. Torches, lanterns, candles, and braziers now cast real volumetric light shafts and fog with smooth distance-based fade-in/out, instead of flat point lights. Bundled in is Brighter Lights, which lets you resize the radius of every light type independently — so the volumetrics always scale to match.

Scribe's Art — MWSE

Lua writing profession (no ESP/ESM)

Adds a full writing profession built entirely in Lua. No plugin, no leveled list edits — works alongside any load order.

Features: Custom Writing skill with skill-based success/quality rolls and real failure outcomes

6 categories: Personal Journal, Skill Manual, Research Notes, Travelogue, Short Story, Book

Progression: Notes → Manuscripts → bound Books

Procedural drafting  using tracked context — location, faction, known spells, encountered creatures/diseases

Author reputation system, reflected in sale/publish flavor

Sell via vanilla barter; commission bulk print runs from qualifying merchants

"The Last Word": 13-stage personal chronicle tied to verified main-quest journal checkpoints, bindable into a capstone memoir

Full MCM: fail-chance tuning, skill-gain pacing, tool recognition toggle, auto-draft, starter-tool grant

Requirements

Soft dependencies (auto-detected, none required)

Tribunal, Bloodmoon, Tamriel_Data, OAAB_Data — additional recognized quills/inkwells/paper

Tamriel_Data specifically required to bind manuscripts into books

Tribunal / The Lost Heir — adds one flavor-text line each to the final chronicle chapter if their relevant quests are completed

Daedric Text Menu

Swap your UI text into Morrowind's Daedric font — in real time, with zero permanent changes. Toggle it for everything, just your character's name, character creation/background screens, or the loading screen, all from an easy MCM menu. Turn it off and every element snaps back exactly as it was.

Master toggle for all supported UI text

Player Name and Player Background toggles

Load Bar / Loading Screen toggle

Fully non-destructive — nothing is permanently altered

Safe by design: never touches the console or MCM, built to avoid conflicts with other UI mods

Lightweight, MCM-configurable, debug logging included

Requires MWSE.

Armorer Add-on

Replaces the vanilla repair-tool menu with a Repair / Improve choice. Repair uses a faithful Lua re-implementation of the game's own repair formula (Strength, Luck, Armorer, fatigue, tool quality — can succeed or fail). Improve lets you upgrade any armor piece or weapon, scaling Armor Rating or the weapon's actual damage type(s) plus max durability, based on your Armorer skill and hammer quality — with a full before/after preview before you commit.

Works generically on any armor or weapon from any mod (no per-item patches needed), preserves mesh/icon/enchant/value/weight.

Requires: MWSE

True Economy

A lightweight, pluginless economy overhaul for Morrowind. True Economy dynamically recalculates item values based on material, weight, enchantments, alchemy potency, rarity, artifacts, and cultural value.

Includes curated pricing for Skooma, Moon Sugar, alcohol, books, soul gems, and unique artifacts, plus optional bounty/Mercantile penalties and extensive MCM configuration and presets.

Designed to make Morrowind's economy more consistent while remaining highly customizable.
