When I started playing OpenMW with my PS5 gamepad, I felt gradually limited in the gameplay (or having to do some things the long way ie, find an item in the inventory and click and move it onto the character). It felt slow and sluggish, so I had to come up with a solution to my problem. I haven't found any mod addressing the limited key issue on gamepads, so here it is. If you like playing Morrowind with gamepad in front of TV just like me, then this program is for you.

Keysticks expands all buttons to have double functions (even triple function if you set up keybind in the game and also two binds from Keysticks).

This definitely makes a very enjoyable experience when you can bind everything you actually need to play comfortably.

It is also a way to give back to the community, as I have used so many mods already

Compatible with any instance of Morrowind (Base, MWSE/MGE XE, OpenMW, Starwind) since it is external program.

Keysticks is (should) be compatible with any type of gamepad; it doesn't have to be an Xbox or PS pad.

Known issues:

-Do not bind jump with another function - it makes the jump delayed by approximately 1 second

-Bethesda's quick menu is not double bindable if it's in the 'Short' option; if it activates as a 'Long' keybind, then there is no problem

-Make sure to unbind any gamepad buttons in the game menu if you decide to use double option

Installation instructions:

1. Download and install the newest Keysticks from their official website

2. Open the program and choose the pad layout. If you want to stay with the Xbox pad, then you do nothing in this step and move on to step 3.

If you want to have a PS5 layout, then go with the following steps:

-Create a new profile and then click 'Edit this profile...'

-Go into Inputs->Design Options->Choose background...

-Set Width 370, Height 300, and choose 'Image Background' and choose the PS5.jpeg file you downloaded with this archive

-Afterwards, while in the same window, go to Inputs->Design Options->Import Design...

-Choose 'Another profile:' and find the profile file you downloaded with this package 'PS5 Binds'

-Confirm and then click Apply

-In the main window, find 'Save this profile' option to save your changes

-Now you have proper PS5 pad and button layout installed

3. If you installed my PS5 template, then you already have keybinds set up. Make sure to check everything if it suits your personal keybinds. Now you can start modifying key binds and inputs.

First of all, in the Inputs Menu, you can find out which button pressed corresponds to the button in the program, so you can easily find out what to modify.
