Minimalist Balmora House

This mod is my personal take on a player home mod. I was frustrated at the popular options for Morrowind, with most player homes I found either being ridiculously over-the-top or old and buggy. I just wanted a comfortable location where I could store my loot. The containers and bed within are tagged as "player" owned (which I'm not sure is necessary but it has worked for me). As a bonus, under the table by the fire is a set of nice boots. I made them while learning how creating custom items worked, and figured they were a fun compromise for people who thought the Boots of Blinding Speed were a bit too fast, but still wanted to run a bit faster. The newest version has a locked door, so you'll need to visit Caius and find the key at his house.

The original release of 1. 2 had a bugged bag that wouldn't hold anything. This is FIXED but I didn't change the version number because it was so minor. If you had this issue download the mod again - the current version should be fine.

VERSION 1. 2:

Version 1. 2 greatly improves upon the original, with more storage and adjusted weight limits in all containers (20000 to be exact. As far as I'm aware this won't break anything? These are new custom containers, I didn't edit the parameters of existing ones.) It also has a little more world-building involved, as the house is locked. The key is in Caius' house on top of a note on his table.

VERSION 1. 1:

Version 1. 0 and 1. 1 are completely identical except version 1. 1 now properly installs when downloaded with a mod manager.

POTENTIAL PLANNED CHANGES:

- I'd like the chests and other storage to have larger inventory sizes, but I'm not sure how changing these values effects the game (or if it can introduce glitches. I've heard stories of containers with infinite space causing issues). If I figure out how to give the containers more storage without introducing any glitches I'll update this mod page with a new version of the house.

-Maybe a basement? We'll see. If I get back to this I'll definitely figure out the storage size situation first, but if I figure that out I might add a basement for even more storage room.

- I'm not sure if NPCs can move around in the house. I don't understand navmeshes or anything like that, but if I learn more about that it'll be included in an update. Naturally the player can move around just fine so I haven't had issues with personal use.

INSTALLATION:

- This mod is just an . ESP file using standard Morrowind assets. As far as I am aware Bloodmoon and Tribunal aren't required as while making the house I didn't have their master files enabled in the construction set.
