Magic Lamp Redux

"Somewhere on the outskirts of Vvanderfell, a peculiar redware lamp is hidden. Not a light source anymore but a magical artifact. Find this lamp and discover the secrets that lie within it."

OVERVIEW

This is a lore-friendly cheat mod that prioritizes immersion and follows Morrowind's Middle Eastern aesthetic direction. It adds a special lamp in the Bitter Coast Region, right beside the path from Seyda Neen to Balmora. You'll find it among some pieces of driftwood, with a page from someone's journal lying nearby. When you try to pick it up, this artifact sucks you inside of itself. The lamp's interior serves as a home for unique Daedra. This magical creature will grant you three wishes. The wish of power will max all of your attributes. The wish of knowledge will max all of your skills. The wish of treasure will grant you a full set of enchanted equipment. You can also interact with the pool in the middle of its dwelling to grant yourself a level up (maxing your skills with the wish will prevent you from gaining levels normally). Don't forget to chat with Djinn for some backstory.

Mod comes in two versions: for the base Morrowind and for the Tribunal expansion. The Tribunal version simply prevents the Dark Brotherhood Assassins from spawning inside of the lamp.

INSTALLATION

Drop either "Magic Lamp.esp" or "Magic Lamp (Tribunal).esp" in your "Data Files" folder, depending on whether or not you play with Tribunal expansion. Choose only one of those files!

UNINSTALLATION

Delete the aforementioned ".esp" files from your "Data Files" folder.

CONFLICTS

This plugin should work with most mods because it simply adds a separate interior cell. But it may conflict with a mod that changes the Bitter Coast Region exterior cell since the access point to the new location is placed there. The Tribunal version may also conflict with a mod that changes the Dark Brotherhood Assassins script. In that case, you can simply use the base game version of my plugin.
