CHANGES FROM THE ORIGINAL
eing a member of the Fighters Guild doesn't restrict you from joining the Imperial Legion. Both are Imperial factions, and hiring mercenaries into regular armies isn't that uncommon. Although you still won't get accepted if your disposition is low to reflect some disdain an Imperial Legion soldier might have against sellswords.
Being a member of the Fighters Guild doesn't restrict you from joining House Redoran. However, they will only consider you if your reputation and disposition are high to reflect you being a noble warrior, not a cutthroat.
The Fighters Guild will accept soldiers of Imperial Legion, no questions asked. They will only accept House Redoran with high disposition and monetary compensation.
Telvanni will accept the Mage Guild member in their ranks as long as their disposition, intelligence and reputation is high enough. They really don't care what you do as long as they think you won't bring the prestige down.
If an Arch-Mage of the Mage Guild tries to apply into the Telvanni, they will accept with no additional conditions. They will grill the hell out of you for this, tho.
Members of the Temple can now join the Mage Guild with high enough disposition, reputation and intelligence scores. Members of the Temple of ranks below initiate and below can join freely.
Members of the Mage Guild can join the Temple similar to Telvanni. PC needs to have high disposition and either have high restoration and reputation scores, or to be a dunmer(technically be the same race as the NPC initiating into the temple, but they are all dunmers in the base game). The PC can be refused if their Conjuration skill is too high, as the Temple is more wary of a Mage Guild member being a necromancer.
Morag Tong will let Temple members join in specific circumstances. Try talking to Eno Hlaalu while having a sizable bounty on your head. You will need to have a high level to be of interest to him.
MORAG TONG VERSION:
Anyone can become a member of the Morag Tong. Membership of the Morag Tong doesn't prohibit you from joining any factions. This version assumes that you being a part of it is a secret, I still don't believe that a Great House would willingly enroll a possible murderer of their own.
COMPATIBILITY
Should be compatible with everything. If you encounter any problems with this version, please don't bother the creators of the original mod.
There is a small compatibility patch for Morag Tong Polished in optional files. Without it Temple priests who get accepted into MT won't get the new helm. The recommended load order:
Morag Tong Polished
Less More Exclusive Factions
MTP LMEF patch
A lightweight compatibility mod that prevents joining certain factions if you're already in others, offering a more permissive alternative to More Exclusive Factions. For players who want faction restrictions without the strictness of the original mod.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Small but dedicated following (25 endorsements, 519 downloads)
- Offers a balanced middle ground for faction restrictions
- Active development as of November 2023
⚠️ Cons
- Low endorsement count means limited community testing
- No detailed documentation on which factions are affected
- May conflict with other faction mods if not load-ordered properly
For Skyrim players who want faction exclusivity but find More Exclusive Factions too restrictive. Skip if you prefer no faction restrictions or want a more hardcore experience.
