📋 About This Mod

VANILLA AND OPENMW COMPATIBLE!

This mods don't overwrite any original in-game dialogues, so they should be compatible with anything.

I want to thank half11 once again for his help. Without him, I wouldn't have known how to port my mods to the Vanilla Engine so easily.

Although in the early releases, ChatGPT was used to generate the texts (which were then manually edited to sound more natural), in the latest releases, most (if not all) of the dialogues were written by me. I believe (and hope) that this has significantly improved their overall quality.

For now, I've included the mods that cover the following locations:

  • []Balmora (Merchants, assassins and some misc NPCs)

    []Galom Daeus - Clan Berne

    []Ghostgate

    []Sadrith Mora (Streets and Inns)

    []Skaal Village

    []Tel Fyr

    []Thirsk

[]Vivec's Arena (but not Morag Tong's NPCs)

    []Vos (village)

    []Zainab Camp

  • Some misc NPCS on random locations

The Miscellaneous update also adds dialogues to NPCs in various locations scattered throughout Morrowind.

A list of all the characters covered by the mods can be seen at the end of this description.

I'll add Dagon Fel later, when I've completely revamped the mod to enhance its quality.

    GENERAL INTRODUCTION

I want to begin by expressing my admiration for the LGNPC mods. However, since these mods don't cover all cities, such as Balmora, Dagon Fel or all the NPCS of the Zainab Camp, the places not included in the LGNPC mods feel less vibrant compared to those with added text. So, I have decided to create a mod that adds stories to some NPCs in several locations.

If you like the mods, please let me know. I intend to keep uploading mods of this style, and it would help to hear the opinions of those who use them. Any constructive criticism is welcome. If you find any errors in the Lore or grammar of the texts, please let me know as well. I am not a native English speaker, and although I review the texts, there may be errors.

    FEATURES

My intention is that each character has a story, although not necessarily an epic story. Just a story that, when visiting one location, allows players to identify and feel acquainted with the characters at first sight. I enjoy feeling at home when playing Morrowind, and giving the NPCs personalities makes the game world feel more real. The mod adds +200 pages of lore-friendly dialogues. As is often the case, some stories may have higher quality than others. All the dialogues are lore-friendly, and if I have made any

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Solid download count (18,621) shows real interest from the community
  • Compendium format means you get multiple dialogue mods in one install
  • Works with both Vanilla and OpenMW, so it's flexible for different setups

⚠️ Cons

  • Only 81 endorsements compared to downloads—some players may not be fully satisfied

🎯 Is This For You?
For Morrowind players who want more life in NPC interactions without overhauling the whole game. If you're tired of the same generic responses and want a bit more depth, this is a lightweight addition. Skip if you're looking for major quest or gameplay changes—this is purely dialogue-focused.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 5 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • If you're using OpenMW, make sure to install the OpenMW-compatible version to avoid issues.
  • Since it's a compendium, check the included readme (if any) to see which NPCs are covered—this helps you know what to expect in-game.
  • Load order shouldn't matter much for dialogue mods, but placing it after other NPC mods can prevent conflicts.
