Imperial Billiards - Playable Pool Tables

This mod implements a simple billiards game using the Tamriel_Data table, ball, and cue assets first seen in Project Cyrodiil's Abecean Shores release.

Imperial Billiards is a 2-player table game you can play at several distinct locations on Vvardenfell. You will get to participate in a real-time elastic physics minigame, both in the vanilla engine and OpenMW. The AI opponents are fairly competent, and you will need to focus on pocketing the spheres of your color to win the gold you've wagered. A free practice mode is available for low-level characters and casual play.

For each location, there is a main host NPC who offers to start a round of the game through the topic "billiards". Locations feature different betting levels.

You can download an optional Project Cyrodiil addon to make the existing tables in Charach (Stirk) and Anvil playable. Load the addon after the main Imperial Billiards ESP.

Neither MWSE nor OpenMW are required. This mod uses only native Morrowind scripting.

Tamriel_Data is required. The latest releases use loose files, so you don't need to register BSAs.

How to Play

This version of billiards is simplified and easy to grasp. It's pushing the limits of the Morrowind scripting engine, so I had to restrict the number of balls to 5 for each player and simplify the mechanics of scratching. This still allows for each round to last approximately 2 to 4 minutes, which works well for Morrowind.

The objective of the game is to aim the white ball and activate it to sink all 5 balls of your color. You can activate the ball or cue up to 6 times to increase the strength of the shot. The animated cue will always aim at the same angle as the player's viewpoint.
