📋 About This Mod
Description:
Makes NPCs spit randomly with visible saliva model on the floor. There is roughly 10% chance NPC may spit in front of you if they don't like you - disposition below ten. See showcase videos. Different sound effects for different races and sexes.
Requirements:
Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon on Original or OpenMW engine.
Recommended mod:
Keg Dip - Melchior Dahrk allowed me to use resources from this mod
Idle Talk - adds new voiced entries. My mod adds new sound effect entries using same mechanics.
Recommended load order I used to test both mods:
Morrowind. ESM
Tribunal. ESM
Bloodmoon. ESM
Immersive Spitting. ESP
Idle Talk. ESP
Conflicts:
Compatible on both original and OpenMW engine. Should be compatible with all mods out there. I do not know any mod that heavily changes how vanilla dialogue->voice->idle works. My mod relies on dialogue->voice->idle being not radically changed - new entries are fine.
Known Issues:
Should be none.
FAQ
Q: Can player sit?
A: No. If I will find interface-user friendly way to implement it in without MWSE I will make it happen. Pressing sneak key 3 times or equipping ring/spell to spit will not feel like right way to do it. I will probably release lua script to enable player spitting but don't hold me to that. My mod You n'wah provides a limited event where player can spit.

- Lightweight and simple—no complex dependencies or scripts.
- Community niche but has a few dedicated fans (34 endorsements).
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2020—may be outdated for current game versions.
- Only 34 endorsements, so it's a niche mod with limited testing.
For immersion-focused players who want every little detail to feel alive, even the gross ones. If you're a roleplayer or someone who loves environmental storytelling, this adds a subtle layer of realism. Skip if you prefer a clean, polished world or want gameplay-affecting mods.
