📋 About This Mod
Isn't it a bit silly that each of the Great Houses has these big vaults in Vivec, but literally no one is allowed to take anything out of them? Even the leader of the Great House will get charged with theft and expelled from the faction if he tries taking something from his own vault while the ordinators are looking. Hell, according to the CS, most of the stuff in these vaults is owned by the ordinators themselves, which really makes no sense whatsoever.
With this mod, you no longer have to worry about using exploits to peruse your own vault. Once you reach the rank of Archmaster for Redoran, Archmagister for Telvanni, or Grandmaster for Hlaalu, you'll be allowed to take whatever items that you want from your own faction's vault; who better to decide how to appropriate the faction's funds and treasures than the god damn actual leader of the faction?
The doors to the vaults will still be locked (as will some of the chests), but you can get the keys by speaking to the faction's treasurer within the vaults (this will be Beldrose Dralor for Redoran, Baren Alen for Hlaalu, and a newly added NPC named Drelis Serven for Telvanni). Of course, your rank still needs to be maxed out to get a key from them, otherwise they'll just tell you to piss off.
The Telvanni Vault normally has two Storm Atronachs inside to ward off looters, but I've added a script to them that disables them if you enter the cell as Archmagister.
mod is clean of GMST contamination

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tidy little immersion boost for faction loyalists (108 endorsements)
- Makes high-rank rewards feel meaningful—no more sneaking around your own house
- Lightweight and straightforward, no bloat or extra scripts
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects vault looting—if you wanted deeper faction perks, this won't deliver
- Last updated in 2018, so may have compatibility issues with newer mod setups
- No documentation or install instructions provided by the author
For Morrowind roleplayers who stick with one Great House and want their rank to actually mean something. If you're a completionist who loots everything anyway, this removes the guilt. Skip if you're looking for major gameplay overhauls—this is a tiny tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you've actually reached the highest rank in your Great House before expecting the vault to be unlocked—otherwise it won't work.
- If you're using a mod manager like Wrye Mash or MO2, just drop the mod in and activate it; load order shouldn't matter much for a simple script mod.
- Since it's from 2018, test it with your current mod list—especially if you have other faction overhaul mods that might conflict.
