📋 About This Mod

This pack contains 122 splash screens in a unified style. Pick and choose which ones you want to use. There are separate splash screen packs for 2K and 4K resolution sizes.

To make this pack I simply used XeroFoxx1's 8K Blank Parchment Splash Screen

On top of this background I added Kirkbride concept art from The Art of Morrowind and additional art hosted on UESP,

Monopteryx's art,

Misha Pabor's art,

and a High DPI scan of Mike Wagner's Vvardenfell, Mournhold, and Solstheim maps,

A map of the Aanthirin region from Tamriel Rebuilt by Ludovic Fenouil,

A map of the Grasping Fortune release from Tamriel Rebuilt,

and Myrcenart's city and landscape art

All credit goes to XeroFoxx1 for the parchment background and all the artists for their individual work. All I did was arrange the images.

  • []00 Core (55 splash screens)

This set features most of Michael Kirkbride's concept art from his blog and The Art of Morrowind, but also some sketches by Misha Pabor which mimics Kirkbride's iconic style. Loading this folder will automatically replace all vanilla splash screens

  • []01 Monopteryx Creature Art (11 splash screens)

This set features creature art portraits by Monopteryx

  • []02 Wagner Vvardenfell Maps (9 splash screens)

This set features crops of Mike Wagner's Vvardenfell map

  • []02 Wagner Vvardenfell Maps (no labels) (9 splash screens)

This set includes the aforementioned Wagner Vvardenfell map crops, but with all of the text labels removed.

  • []03 Wagner Bloodmoon Maps (3 splash screens)

This set features crops of Mike Wagner's Solstheim map for Bloodmoon

  • []03 Wagner Bloodmoon Maps (no labels) (3 splash screens)

This set includes the aforementioned Wagner Solstheim map crops, but with all of the text labels removed.

  • []04 Wagner Tribunal Map (1 splash screen)

This folder includes Mike Wagner's map of Mournhold for Tribunal

  • []05 Tamriel Rebuilt Maps (4 splash screens)

This set features some maps of the Aanthirin region drawn by Ludovic Fenouil and also the area around Narsis added in the Grasping Fortune release for Tamriel Rebuilt

  • []06 Myrcenart Addon (7 splash screens)

This set features 7 landscape and city sketches drawn by Myrcenart

  • []07 Gonzo Gone Wild (20 splash screens)

This set features more Michael Kirkbride art which didn't make the cut for the Core module. Use this folder at

✅ Pros

  • Massive variety with 122 screens—you'll never see the same one twice
  • Unified style keeps the game's aesthetic consistent, unlike random image dumps
  • Community favorite with 517 endorsements and over 65k downloads

⚠️ Cons

  • No explicit install instructions—you'll need to figure out manual placement or mod manager setup
  • Only splash screens, no other UI changes—if you wanted more, this won't deliver

🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who want to refresh their loading screens with high-quality, lore-friendly art without changing gameplay. Perfect for modders who appreciate the work of Kirkbride and other renowned artists. Skip if you're looking for gameplay overhauls—this is purely cosmetic.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • If you're using a mod manager, download the 2K version first to save space—4K is only worth it if you have a high-res monitor.
  • Check the mod's file structure after downloading; you may need to manually place the files in your Data folder if your mod manager doesn't auto-detect them.
  • Since this is a splash screen replacer, make sure no other mod is overwriting the same files—use a mod manager to control load order.
