Loading screens and wallpapers from ESO Morrowind

BACK UP YOUR \dAta\sPlaSh FOLDER !!!

This simple mod contains about 250 loading screens and other artworks from ESO: Morrowind and more.

I used several sources of those arts, as well as articles from the official site elderscrollsonline.com and a fanart of litle bit.

en.uesp.net -- I downloaded all loading screens from ESO, present and even /deprecated

elderscrollsonline.com -- a lot of arts, not presented as loading screens, but has a good quality.

fan-art -- seeking of internet space and saving the very best of it.

screenshots -- mostly there are screens by NEXUS ESO users, I paid them credits by naming that screens with their names.

Best pictures wan't uploaded as previews because of my slow internet connection. Belive me, THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL.

INSTALLATION -- only manual

BACK UP YOUR \dAta\sPlaSh FOLDER !!!

0. If you have Mac/Linux, download the appropriate file. Understand yourself.

1. Copy the folder \dAta\sPlaSh to the folder with the game.

2. Inside the \sPlaSh folder there are subdirectories. Select the images we need from them and copy them up one level to the \dAta\sPlaSh folder.

Disliked pictures can be deleted.

3. Run jpg2splash.bat in the \dAta\sPlaSh folder

Both of executive files and the original graphic files will be deleted; instead, you will receive TGA files.

4. That's ALL! Start Morrowind.exe up and enjoy!

You can use these files as desktop wallpapers. If you need even more files, download the bonus archive. Also you can convert contained files to your  \dAta\sPlaSh folder, convert them with jpg2splash.bat and nconvert.exe (You should reextract it again to \dAta\sPlaSh) and enjoy another screens but they are not from Morrowind. But from Tamriel.

ABOUT CREATION OF THIS MOD

While I was choosing artworks for this mod, I was guided by several principles:

1. Arts associated specifically with Morrowind (the country of dark elves) or with TES III Morrowind (a game by Bethesda).

If you see unfamiliar terrain on the screen - believe me, this is either continental Morrowind from ESo (for example, the architecture of the city Ald_Carac), which was not presented in TES3, OR you are simply just not recognizing it in the world of ESO.

2. Neutral arts. Just an image with the interior of any race, the architecture of the Empire (as in Caldera and Pelagiad), objects, items, vampires, werewolves, alchemists, thieves, fighters, magicians - all of TES.

3. A bit of Skyrim (Solstheim for the Nords!) Is TES3.
