📋 About This Mod

Grand Theft Summon - MWSE

What does it do:

-> Summonned Creatures will be more enclined to take sides with whoever has the highest conjuration skill.

-> That means that you'll have a chance to steal hostile NPCs summons if your conjuration is high enough.

-> That also means that your own summons might turn against you if your skill is too low.

-> Switching sides depend on your conjuration skill, but also on your luck. Raise both if you don't want your minions to betray you :)

-> There's nothing to do.

When fighting with or against a summoned creature, the mod will automatically handle everything.

Installation:

-> Merge the "Data Files" folder inside the 7z archive with your own in Morrowind Folder (Or even better, use a mod organizer to do everything automatically for you).

Compatibility:

-> Not compatible with OpenMW.

Requirements:

Known Issues:

-> None (for now at least)

Credits:

-> DrunkenMudCrab and Urm for the mod name suggestions.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Disobedient Summons - MWSE is a Morrowind mod that makes summoned creatures side with the character who has the highest Conjuration skill. This allows you to steal hostile NPCs' summons if your skill is high enough, but also risks losing your own summons to stronger conjurers. It has 42 endorsements and was last updated in June 2022.

✨ Key Features

Summoned creatures choose sides based on the highest Conjuration skill among nearby casters.
Steal hostile NPCs' summons when your Conjuration skill is higher.
Your own summons may defect if an enemy has a higher Conjuration skill.
Requires MWSE (Morrowind Script Extender) for functionality.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Adds a clever new layer to Conjuration gameplay, rewarding investment in the skill.
  • Small but dedicated following (42 endorsements) with a niche appeal.
  • Encourages strategic use of Conjuration in fights against enemy summoners.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2022 — may not be compatible with the latest Morrowind patches or MWSE versions.
  • Limited to Conjuration-focused players; if you don't use summons, this mod does nothing for you.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Morrowind players who love Conjuration and want more dynamic summoning mechanics. Also for those who enjoy turning enemy summons against their casters. Skip if you rarely use Conjuration or prefer pure vanilla gameplay.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure MWSE is installed and up to date before adding this mod, as it's required for the script to run.
  • If you're using a mod manager like Wrye Mash or Mod Organizer 2, install this mod through it to keep your Data Files folder clean.
  • Test the mod with a low-level Conjuration character to see how it affects summon behavior before committing to a full playthrough.
