Desert Region - a Non-Lore-Friendly Quest Mod

Introduction

It adds a small set of islands, under the collective name of Desert Region, as well as the Mournhold-style cities of Moscow, Old Moscow and Ohmsk and the Lyndhurst House School.

There's a total of 251 quests for you to embark on, across 4 different main questlines and their associated side quests.

You will also meet two companions both by the name of Chloe.

This is a non-lore-friendly quest mod which was first developed and released in 2007. However, the original release has always been a buggy mess.

Well, not this version.

The mod has now been merged all into one plug-in, has been cleaned and is fully playable from start to finish. What's more, it's now compatible with Tamriel Rebuilt.

Starting the Mod

I'd highly suggest to use OpenMW if possible, as a lot of the landmasses had to be moved out of the map to be compatible with Tamriel Rebuilt.

Now, there are three possible ways to get to Desert Region.

1). One option is to go there by swimming.

2). Another option is to pay a bit over 1,100 drakes in Khuul to take the silt strider there.

3). Or, go to Mournhold and walk left of the main temple. Walk around the grassy area until you are transported to the prison ship in Desert Region.

Words of Warning

Desert Region is my first modding attempt back in 2007, hence it doesn’t reflect my current work. This has just been cleaned and merged, for consistency's sake.

It includes High School Musical characters, two variations of an elementary school crush, Jak & Daxter characters and even one Tombi/Tomba character!

The stories are, however, unintentionally funny and if you’re looking for something to riff at, you’ve come to the right place.

Compatibility/Incompatibility

Compatible with Tamriel Rebuilt. Will not be compatible with mods which change the silt-strider caravaner of Khuul or are in the same place as Desert Region.
