Daedra Use Bound Equipment for OpenMW

Description

After you achieve a certain level, Dremora and Golden Saints start to drop extremely powerful and expensive equipment. It breaks game economics and the pleasure from acquiring so rare according to the lore items. Their armor is recalled to Oblivion after their death, but not their weapons and shields. This mod fixes that. When a Daedra dies, the mod instantly removes the weapons and armor pieces from its inventory. Other items it possesses stay untouched. Rules and chances for different Daedra and equipment to be affected by the mod can be configured in the mod settings. With the default settings, you can't obtain a Daedric Tower Shield from Golden Saints anymore, but a famous collector has managed to get one in his possession with the optional Daedric Tower Shield Placement. ESP.

Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with any mod that adds or changes Daedra or their equipment. Unique and scripted Daedra and equipment are also supported. You can add certain Daedra or equipment to blacklists, and they won't be affected by the mod (See scripts\DaedraUseBoundEquipment\blacklists.lua) if some other mod requires it. The mod is compatible with Tamriel Rebuilt, Ranked Dremora and much more.

Installation

Safe to install and uninstall mid-playthrough. Recommended OpenMW launcher gameplay setting: Can Loot During Death Animation - No (default: Yes).
