This mod replaces the barnacle objects' (Ex_barnacles_01 to *_06, 3412 objects in game total) textures with somewhat more high-quality ones (from 64x64 px in vanilla game to 256x256 px), while still staying close to the original design.
I noticed that all the existing barnacle retextures that I managed to find just used generic barnacle textures, while the vanilla ones were obviously limpets covered in barnacles, so I made more faithful ones.
In the future, I'll probably improve the models a little too, so stay tuned for the updates.
