The aim of this mod is to provide a full audiobook library for every book, newspaper, poem, and play in Tamriel Data. When playing Tamriel Rebuilt, Skyrim: Home of the Nords, and Project Cyrodiil, you should rarely, if ever, encounter a book without the option to listen to it as an audiobook. This is the first release, so there may occasionally be missing books or errors due to its ambitious scope. Please let me know if you find any missing texts.

I am a huge fan of Frogstat's Audiobooks mod. So much so that I released an addition earlier this year. However, there are hundreds of audiobooks in Tamriel Rebuilt, and only a fraction were completed with both mods. This project aims to complete the rest. There are over 850 audio files in this mod, totalling more than 70 hours of audio.

I have generally followed a simple audio schema for the books in terms of accent and tone:

  Due to Morrowind’s lore setting, most texts naturally feature Dunmer and Imperial voices, though SHotN adds a fair number of Nord works as well. Most Dunmer voices are similar to "A Fetcher’s Guide to Ancestral Tombs" (see below). I experimented with a few Morrowind game-accurate style Dunmer voices but, decided that listening to long audio in very strong, undulating voices was uncomfortable for the listener. However, there are still some in the mod (see Final Confessions and Last Resort below).

  Installation

  Like the Gospels of Tamriel Rebuilt Audiobooks, this is a patch for Frogstat’s Audiobooks of Tamriel Rebuilt.

  • []Install Frogstat’s mod by following the instructions on his page.[/]

    []Download and extract this mod.[/]

    []Copy and paste the files into the directory for Audiobooks of Tamriel Rebuilt. This will add additional Lua scripts and MP3 files. When prompted, overwrite - you must overwrite for the mod to add the required Lua code. [/]

    []The mod contains all the audio and Lua script for The Gospels of Tamriel Rebuilt Audiobooks, so it functionally replaces that mod.[/]
