📋 About This Mod
This mod changes the armor ratings of most all of the armors available in Morrowind. Lower rating armors are improved across the board. Given the existence of the armor skills it seemed unnecessary to have such a dramatic difference between low quality and high-end equipment. Glass armor has been toned down to a more reasonable 30 armor rating (originally 50). At its original setting, glass armor is better than any medium armor and simply more protective than any light seems like it should be. Dwemer has been made into a high-end medium armor - originally fairly hard to acquire without really being good enough to bother using. Secondly - medium armor required a high-end armor to balance between glass and daedric. (dwemer is a bit more common than would be ideal - but oh well) Light armors range from 10 (netch leather) to 30 (glass) Medium armors range from 20 (imp chain) to 50 (dwemer) Heavy armors range from 30 (iron plate) to 80 (daedric) Exact numbers are still open to tweaking, especially in regards to gold values for items.
