Nostalgia Music Replacement

The MUCH requested "So Tasty!" music replacement mod is out now on Nexus!

This mod replaces some of the game's music with classic soundtracks from older games from the Freedom series!

Here's a list of all the replacements so far:

• []Main menu music is now Proof of a Hero from Freedom Unite

  []Astera music is now the Pokke Village music from Freedom Unite

  []Quest complete music is now the equivalent music from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

  []Quest fail music is now the equivalent music from Monster Hunter Tri (untested...)

  []Ancient Forest intro music is now the Forest and Hills intro music from Freedom

  []Living Quarters music is now the Felyne Kitchen music from Freedom (this will be updated to also replace the Private Quarters and Private Suite music)

  I'm happy to take requests for further audio replacements, either as updates to this mod, or as separate mods. If you'd like any of the replacements in this mod as a separate mod, please don't hesitate to ask, and I will try my utmost to get round to doing it.

  Please do not abuse this. Use at your own risk, as abusing modifications may well result in a ban in the

  future. We simply don't know Capcom's policy.

  Installation:

  Extract the downloaded .zip file and move the nativePC folder to "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Monster Hunter World", or wherever your install directory is.

  Coming soon:

  • Tool for replacing audio (prerequisite being figuring out the other audio container structure). This is already well in the works.

    Credit has to be given to Asterisk from the Monster Hunter World modding Discord too, as he has been helping with a ton of the audio research! Notable mention goes to JohnShaft (AllStarTech on Discord), for testing the mod at various points and providing useful feedback.
