IAI SPIRIT SLASH FIX

The main reason I´ve decided to create a mod like this is the video about the lai spirit slash of famous monster hunter speedrunner Peppo ( youtube ).

As many of you probably didn't know about these issues, I did not know either.

That's when I stumbled upon Peppo´s video in which he explains all these issues in detail.

I highly recommend watching his video first and decide afterward whether I fixed the problems he mentions.

The things I´ve changed

Motion Values ( raw damage for first and second hit )

- motion value white Gauge          19+55 ( first and second hit )  ------->   37+37

- motion value yellow Gauge  31+72 ( first and second hit )  ------->   52+52

- motion value red Gauge       39+86 ( first and second hit )  ------->   63+63

Part Modifier ( damage on parts for first and second hit )

- 0+150 --------> 100+100

-  lai Spirit Slash Second Hit Part Damage on Succesful Counter 1,3 ---------> 1,5

-> only damage to monster parts, not the monster's health, slightly increases the flinch chance! )

General changes

- lai Spirit Slash has exactly 14 Eye Frames ( 0,233333 sec ) and 12 Counter Frames ( 0,2 seconds )

I've increased the counter-frames to 14

---> Most people won't notice this, even long sword veterans probably won't

-  lai Spirit Slash Second Hit Time delay 0,5 -> 0,25 ( this way the 2nd hit is more likely to hit the same part the first one did )

- Hyper armor after a lai spirit slash increase from 2 seconds ---> 2,5

Enhanced spirit slash fix ( optional file )

-  lai Spirit Slash Second Hit Part Damage on Succesful Counter 1,3 ---------> 3

-  Part Modifier = 150+150

---> greatly increases flinch chance not damage to the monster!
