# Keep Armor On During Meal Cutscene

A small REFramework Lua mod for Monster Hunter Wilds that keeps your hunter's chest armor visible during the meal/villager cutscene that normally swaps your outfit for the inner-clothes set.

## What it does

The meal cutscene at the campsite/villager normally replaces your hunter's full armor outfit (chest, arms, waist, slinger) with a fixed inner-clothes set so everyone shows the same body in the cutscene. This mod blocks that swap so your armor stays visible.

- Chest, arms, waist, slinger: visible (your equipped armor stays on)

- Other slots (helm, legs, mantle): unchanged from vanilla

- Cutscene plays normally otherwise — animations, dialogue, camera, NPC

## Requirements

- Monster Hunter Wilds (any version, since the mod doesn't use binary addresses)

- REFramework ((https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases))

That's it. No other dependencies.

## Installation

### Option 1 — Manual

Extract the contents of the zip into your game folder:

The `reframework/autorun/` folder is created by REFramework on first run; if it doesn't exist, launch the game once with REFramework installed first.

### Option 2 — Fluffy Mod Manager

Drag the `.zip` into Fluffy Mod Manager's Wilds mod list and click Enable.

### Option 3 — Vortex / generic

Point the mod manager at the `.zip`. The path inside the archive (`reframework/autorun/...`) is the standard REFramework Lua mod layout.

## Usage

There's nothing to configure — once installed, the mod is on. The next time you trigger the meal cutscene, your armor stays visible.

To toggle it off without uninstalling: open REFramework's menu (default `Insert` key) → Script Generated UI → expand "Keep Armor On (Meal Cutscene) v1. 0" → uncheck the "Block meal-cutscene inner-clothes swap" checkbox.
