Comfortable Insect Glaive 2026

NOTE:

This is a small compatibility patch for the original Comfortable Insect Glaive mod by Decimal6502. I didn’t create the mod—I've only made a minimal code adjustment so it works again after the TU3 update.

All credit for the concept and original implementation goes to Decimal6502. This is a temporary, community-maintained fix; if the original author updates the mod, please use their version.

Permissions / Notes:

If the original author asks, I’ll remove or hand over this patch. Let me know if any issues remain on TU3 so I can adjust the compatibility shim.

The following options can be set through a menu in the Script Generated UI section of the REFramework menu:

Slash charge time

This is the adjustment I highly recommend. It allows you to execute combos including the Tornado Slash.

Charge times have been adjusted as follows:

Charge Press Time: 1. 2s > 0. 45s

Air Charge Press Time: > 0. 8s > 0. 3s

Kinsect charge time

Kinsect charge times are as follows:

Charge Press Time: 0. 6s > 0. 3s

Kinsect attack ｃycle

Due to the focus mode, kinsect auto-attacks are rarely used, so I've enhanced them.

Extract Buff Boost

Changes to extract effects are as follows:

Orange Defense Buff: 1. 05 > 1. 2

Orange + White Defense Buff: 1. 1 > 1. 3

Red + White Damage Buff: 1. 1 > 1. 2

Triple Extracts Damage Buff: 1. 15 > 1. 3

White Speed Buff: 1. 2 > 1. 25

Added 'Rock Steady' (Earplugs Level3 + Windproof Level3 + Tremor Resistance Level3) as a combined effect of orange and white extracts.

Red extract motion

As in previous titles, motion is enhanced with red extract alone. There are no changes to Rising Spiral Slash (it requires Triple Up and focus mode).

Kinsect support

Since the Kinsect assists the Insect Glaive user, the following skills are activated implicitly.
