📋 About This Mod

Made for 15. 1X. XX.

All weapons, quivers, etc, are invisible when sheathed.

Does not affect Kinsects.

Works for pendants too, except for bows/quivers.

Alters the position of sheathed weapons to be so far away you never see them.

Quivers are done with visibilityCondition instead, since they are always sheathed. So the emblem for bows & quiver parts are made invisible too; else they would be visible. (Since pendants attach to the quiver, they will always be visible for bows. Nothing I can do about this short of making quivers permanently invisible.)

SnS Shields are also done with visibilityCondition instead. Mounted shield bash does 0 damage is I use the evwp method. (Shield is technically considered sheathed for mounted shield bash.)

Note: Pendants with sound will only be audible when the weapon is drawn. The weapon is a mile below you when sheathed. This is how they're made 'invisible'. As a result, any sound they emit will be in that far away place.

This is not something I can or will fix.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 2,103 endorsements and 44k downloads—clearly a go-to for this niche.
  • Does exactly what it says: no more clunky weapon models clipping through your back.
  • Lightweight and straightforward—no complex setup or extra patches needed.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in December 2020—might not be fully compatible with the latest Skyrim version or other mods.
  • Only affects sheathed state; weapons still appear when drawn, so it's not a full invisibility mod.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who want a cleaner look for their character, especially those who use back-mounted weapons and hate the visual clutter. It's perfect for screenshot enthusiasts or roleplayers who prefer a more realistic appearance. Skip if you want gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since it's a simple mod, just drop the files into your Data folder or use your mod manager—no special load order needed.
  • If you use other weapon mods, test in-game to ensure they don't conflict; if weapons appear, try loading this mod last.
  • For Skyrim Special Edition, make sure you download the correct version if available, as oldrim mods may not work directly.
