MHWilds Denoiser Toggle

MHWilds Graphics Enhancement is here!

This mod consider obsolete because MHWilds Graphics Enhancement includes the denoiser.

A REFramework mod for Monster Hunter Wilds that exposes hidden denoiser settings buried in the RE Engine. MHWilds will turn on three denoisers when a user enables RT in the game settings. All settings are controlled from the REFramework Script UI.

Features (RT must be enabled in-game settings for this to take effect)

• []DenoiserVersion2022 —(On by Default) Switches to the 2022 denoiser algorithm. Generally produces less temporal ghosting and better stability compared to the older denoiser.[/]

  []DenoiserVersion2022v2 —(On by Default) Second iteration of the 2022 denoiser algorithm. May further improve temporal stability and reduce ghosting over the original 2022 version.[/]

  []TransparentDenoise —(On by Default) Enables denoising on transparent surfaces such as water and other transparent geometry. Helps reduce noise and shimmer on water surfaces.[/]

  []NewDenoiser —(Off by Default) Toggles between two internal denoiser paths. Despite the name, this may activate an older or alternative algorithm depending on the game. Test with your other denoiser settings to find the best combination.[/]

  Installation

  • []Download and install REFramework by praydog first.[/]

    []Download and drop MHWilds Denoiser Toggle.lua into your MonsterHunterWilds/reframework/autorun folder.[/]

    Uninstalling

    • []Delete MHWilds Denoiser Toggle.lua from the reframework/autorun folder.[/]

      []Delete MHWilds_Denoiser_Toggle.json from the reframework/data folder.[/]
