Rain

Adds rain to Freeroam across the whole city.

Features and technical info:

- No render-distance cutoff (vanilla "Release" rain stops rendering ~150m from placement point; this one doesn't).

- Dedicated rain sounds, with indoor/outdoor awareness.

- Vanilla "Release" assets aren't modified. Everything is built from new duplicated assets.

- Rain uses the game's camera proximity system - it only renders within the player's view, not off-screen or far in the distance.

Known issues:

- Interior spaces don't suppress rain the way they do during the "Release" mission - rain renders through where it shouldn't. This is handled by a set of hidden volumes baked at production time; new or moved volumes don't hide rain at their new position, even within the mission's own area - only the original ones DICE placed, at their exact original spots, actually work. Not fixable with the current set of modding tools.

- Users on wide aspect ratios may notice rain cutting off near the edges of the screen.

Compatibility:

- Fully compatible with Remove Haze for more immersion.

If you plan to use both, grab "Rain | Remove Haze Compatibility Patch" from the optional files instead of the main file, and install it alongside Remove Haze (preferably Full) - place the patch below Remove Haze in your mod list with "List" Load Order.

- Won't work properly with any other atmosphere-changing mod.
