Map Expansion

PROJECT STATUS

The project is currently on HOLD for a major technical rework.

This is necessary to prevent performance issues and ensure stability as the mod expands.Why?

Previous versions of the mod relied on an inefficient method for rendering new props (linking multiple Level Streaming Zones together). While it worked visually, it severely impacted performance, caused abnormally long loading times and led to occasional crashes and performance issues.

The upcoming version abandons this old method for the main city districts. It will no longer modify Level Streaming Zones, ensuring that loading times, stability, and overall performance return to normal vanilla game levels.

INSTALLATION

Requirement: Frosty Mod Manager 1. 0. 6. 3 or newer.

Load Order is critical:

1. Use the List load order.

2. Place this mod at the very bottom of the Applied mods.

Set MESH QUALITY to Ultra or Hyper.

At lower settings, objects may fail to load, breaking the new pathways.

Overall Changes

• New locations across the city.

• Optimized streaming zones for better stability & performance.Centurian Yards

Zephyr Station Bridge:

• Added alternative pathway on the side of the building.

Kruger & Cascadia Logistics:

• Fully decorated rooftops. Accessible with several pathways.

• New zipline connecting to Charter Hill hackable billboard area.

• Both buildings now feature the greenery zones.

• Tweaked doors height on the Kruger building in the greenery zone.

• Tweaked the magrope activation radius on the Cascadia Logistics building.

Pirandello building:

• Overhauled the location with small aircons and added multiple rooftop objects.

A bridge near the safe house:

• New location with vegetation and a waterfall.

Bryson skyscraper:

• Big aircons now have bases.Concord Plaza

Allcom Pathway:

• Decorated rooftops on the Allcom logo building.

• New verticality: added pipes and a Magrope point.

• New zipline to OOB areas.

Hackable Billboard Area:

• New pathway to get to the rooftop.Birdman's OOB

Overall Changes:

• Fixed a wall lamp lighting on the rooftop with a parasol.

• Fixed some zone streaming issues.
