Customize day and night cycles to your liking. **LongerDays** is a lightweight, performance-focused Paper plugin that lets you customize the duration of days and nights using simple, minute-based commands. Make your days longer, nights shorter, or both, without changing the server's tick rates, entity speeds, crop growth, or redstone mechanics. Every calculation is done smoothly in the background, **ensuring zero impact on your server's TPS.** --- ## ✨ Features ### 🕒 Time Cycle Customization - **Custom Day/Night Cycles:** Control exactly how long days and nights last using real-world minutes. - **Per-World Settings:** Give each world its own unique cycle, or restore vanilla 10-minute cycles where you want. - **Safe Dimension Handling:** Automatically ignores dimensions without a normal sky clock (like the Nether and the End) to prevent issues. --- ## 🛠️ Commands & Permissions > 💡 **Tip:** You can use either `/longerdays` or the shorter alias `/ld` for all commands. * 💻 `/ld help` — Shows grouped help and usage examples. * 📊 `/ld status ` — Shows the active cycle duration and settings. * ⏳ `/ld setDuration day <mins> night <mins> ` — Sets both day and night durations. * ☀️ `/ld setDuration day <mins> ` — Changes only the daytime duration. * 🌙 `/ld setDuration night <mins> ` — Changes only the nighttime duration. * ❌ `/ld disableDuration ` — Disables custom cycles and restores vanilla 10-minute cycles. * 🔄 `/ld resetDuration ` — Resets cycles to plugin defaults (30-min day / 10-min night). * ⚙️ `/ld reload` — Reloads the plugin configuration file (`config.yml`). - Admin commands require: `longerdays.admin` (Granted to OP by default) - Player commands require: `longerdays.command` (Granted to OP by default) --- ## ⚙️ Default Configuration <details> <summary><b>📄 Click to view the default config.yml</b></summary> ```yaml # LongerDays Configuration File version: 1.0 defaults: enabled: true day-duration-minutes: 30 night-duration-minutes: 10 ``` </details> --- ## 📦 Installation 1.
