# Bending (https://github.com/PrimordialMoros/Bending/wiki) | (https://discord.gg/sjwncgE) Bending is a free and open source mod/plugin that brings the universe of _Avatar: The Last Airbender_ to Minecraft. #### Main Features - 4 elements (Air, Water, Earth, Fire) - 60+ unique elemental abilities - High performance - User friendly - Dynamic ability interactions - Accurate collision system - Compelling combat system - Fully translatable - Support for bending mobs - Robust, flexible API #### Abilities There are 3 types of abilities depending on how they are activated and used: - Passive or innate abilities work without requiring binding. - Active abilities need to be bound to a slot in your hotbar in order to be utilized. - Sequences are only activated by following a precise series of active (bound) abilities and therefore cannot be bound themselves. #### Getting started Once you've setup your server and added the plugin or loaded the fabric mod (for singleplayer): 1. `/bending choose ` to select an element 1. `/bending help <element>` to view a list of available abilities 1. `/bending help <ability name>` to view a description and instructions for the specified ability 1. `/bending bind <ability name> ` to bind an active ability to the given slot (or your currently selected slot if you omit the number) Since your amount of slots is finite (9 hotbar slots) you have to carefully choose what abilities you want to use as well as their order. The order is important as it will allow you perform sequences faster and with more precision.
