From complex technological systems of power generation and resource production, to distinctive implementation of planets, moons, and even pulsars, every aspect of **Starbounded** has a purpose — a reason to be there. Spanning from the **Salt-Peter** found inside the Earth's crust to the far civilizations in the **Centauri Star System**, all aspects of the mod have purpose and potential for scalability. ---     **Starbounded** employs a custom tech tree that scales all the way from the early game on Earth to a lore-based end game in the **Andromeda Galaxy**. The lore is optional, of course, but it adds a unique sense of layer to the mod's atmosphere and ultra-powerful gear and mechanics that are only possible through its completion. ---     **Starbounded** adds a plethora of custom materials, blocks, and machines all obtained through the custom tech tree. These custom materials include but are not limited to most Elements on the periodic table, real-life compounds (**Ammonia**, **Methane**, **Sulfuric Acid**, etc…), and many composite materials (**Reinforced Magnetized Steel**, **Stainless Steel**, **Kevlar**, etc…). Alongside materials, machines such as **Chemical Refineries**, **Oil pumps**, **Atmospheric Extractors**, and many more are all accessible through the **custom tech tree**. ---     **Starbounded** is meant to be automated! The goal of **Starbounded** is to set up interplanetary automation through resource transportation, management, and production. For example, inexhaustible sulfuric acid deposits beneath Venus's surface are transported to a factory on Mars, where they are mixed with magnesium mined locally. The resulting compound is then transported to the Moon for use in anti-gravity reaction processes. ---     A space mod wouldn’t be a space mod without space travel, even if it has the most **automation** in the world! Starbounded adds a custom **modular** spacecraft creation system, allowing you to assemble your ship **block by block**. With the immense amount of rocket parts at your disposal (**Fins**, **Nose's**, **Fuselage**, **Thruster Tiers**, **Side Boosters**, etc…), your creativity will have no bounds! (except for stars… **starbounded**!11!) ---     **Starbounded** features numerous references from **TV shows**, **video games**, **books**, and **movies**. You’ll discover nods to **classics** such as _Stargate_, _Farscape_, _Dune_, and many more! Especially in the lore ;) ---     **Starbounded** adds so much more than this. It is more than a Minecraft mod, rather an experience to be **enjoyed**. Starbounded adds special **world gen**, **ore gen**, new **mobs**, new **weapons** and **tools**, new **dimensions** (no, not minecraft dimensions :) ). You can inflict space wars with **satellite space lasers**, **interplanetary cannons**, and **weaponized EM waves**. Create **space stations** in orbit that are fully **self-sustainable**.
