Great for people who like to build realistic, functional Minecart networks! ### This mod aims to achieve 100% World-Compatibility with Vanilla - No custom blocks, entities or items. - Uninstalling won't corrupt your world. - To restore Vanilla mechanics, just remove the mod! #### Here is a comparison between Vanilla and Smooth Minecarts !(https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/e9ac13fb-8b82-43a8-a869-6984481c7ad2) !(https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/61c9abd8-d4f3-4e15-a32f-909ee82fbfeb) # Gamerules This mod adds new gamerules to change the smoothing factor: ### smoothMinecartsSamplingDistance - Default value: `6` (recommended `6 ~ 30`) - Minimum value: `0` The mod samples a set number of rails ahead of the minecart, and averages its distance to each rail. This gamerule modifies the number of blocks to sample. You should change this according to how tight your curved track layout is. ### smoothMinecartsStraightnessPrecheckDistance - Default value: `3` (recommended `smoothMinecartsSamplingDistance / 2`) - Minimum value: `0` The mod corrects the direction if it thinks the minecart will derail. This gamerule modifies how many blocks ahead are checked for derailment prevention. # Compatibility - May be incompatible with **other mods that change Minecart physics**. # Side Effects - Makes curves and non-45° diagonals **faster**. (As fast as straight rails!) - May **break farms** that rely on Minecarts! - **Disables collisions** while the Minecart is on-rail. - Carts will NOT STOP against a block! - This is due to a bug - may be fixed in a future release.
