Saros Default Options is a Minecraft Forge mod that allows server administrators and modpack creators to establish and maintain default configurations for their setups. With this mod, you can define a set of configuration files in a designated directory, which will be copied into the main directory when the game launches. This provides a straightforward way to enforce server or modpack-specific settings for all players.

1. Download the mod and place it in the `mods` folder of your Minecraft Forge or Fabric setup. 2. Launch Minecraft to generate the initial configuration files and folders. 3. Place your default configuration files in the "Saros Default Options" folder that appears next to your main configuration directory. 4. Adjust the mod’s configuration file (`sarosdefaultoptions.cfg`) to enable or disable overwriting, depending on your needs.

### Configuration

The mod includes a configuration file named `sarosdefaultoptions.cfg`, where you can control whether the mod will overwrite existing configuration files.

- overwriteConfigFiles (default: `false`): If set to `true`, the mod will overwrite any existing configuration files with the default files each time it is loaded. If set to `false`, it will only copy files if they do not already exist.
