# NoBlind **NoBlind** is a lightweight client-side mod that completely removes the screen overlays and fog distortion caused by the blindness and darkness status effects. --- ## What does it do? In vanilla Minecraft, the Blindness and Darkness effects severely restrict your vision by rendering a thick fog circle or pulsing the screen to total blackness. This mod stops the client from rendering those specific visual overlays, keeping your screen clear. NoBlind removes: - The thick, near-sight fog circle caused by the Blindness effect. - The pulsing screen-dimming overlay caused by the Darkness effect in the Deep Dark. NoBlind keeps: - The actual status effects on the server side (e.g., you still cannot sprint while blinded). - All other vanilla fog behaviors (like normal biome fog or render distance limits).
