# What is Good Luck? <span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><strong>Good Luck</strong> gives purpose to the luck mechanic by making loot tables more influenced by luck and by making the Potion of Luck accessible.</span> <span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The mod changes loot tables to make greater use of the quality value, which is now tied to how valuable the loot is. The quality value increases the chance of getting certain items based on the player’s luck stat — so better luck means better loot.</span> <span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">This also applies to the unluck effect, which gives the player negative luck, resulting in worse loot.</span> <span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><strong>Good Luck</strong> also works with other mods that use the quality value.</span> ## Updates status: Since I am the only developer of this mod, development is a bit slow, so don’t expect too many updates.
