ColorLight is a mod that automatically determines how a block should glow and generates colored lighting based on that.

All shaders are compatible with ColorLight and do not require support from their authors.

ColorLight is well suited for building maps, structures, or vanilla servers, as the mod allows you to create your own light sources through commands. Soon, you will be able to share your light sources with other players, both on servers and in local worlds, by transferring save files.

### How the Mod Works

When a glowing block is detected, the mod:

Finds the block's texture Analyzes it Determines the dominant color Uses this color to illuminate the block

### Settings

All mod settings are currently located in Sodium.

The "General" tab is responsible for:

Enabling the mod Adjusting the glow radius Enabling GPU calculations (Requires OpenGL 4. 3; everything works with the Vulkan renderer) Enabling light smoothing Adjusting the lighting balance

The "Blocks" tab is responsible for:

Enabling individual blocks Adjusting the lighting radius separately for each block Adjusting the glow color separately for each block

### Compatibility

Any mod that adds its own light block will work natively with correct colored lighting, which can be adjusted separately in the settings if desired.

All optimization mods are supported. If you find a mod that still does not work with ColorLight, first check whether it has already been reported on the (https://github.com/MrHikmen/ColorLight/issues). If it hasn't, please report your findings.

However, some mods require separate ColorLight support, specifically mods that add features different from vanilla Minecraft.
