Chitinous Ties ============== Player-creatable, survival-friendly quests! Make custom quests and tasks for your friends in multiplayer, or use it like any other quest mod with a powerful datapack configuration layer. Put out bounties or outsource your chores! **As Seen In (https://modfest.net/bc25)!** Contract of Chitin ------------------ The main item of the mod! Each one of these lets you set tasks for another player to complete, a time limit, and item rewards to give to them on completion! Then, draft the contract and hand it to the other player. Once they've signed it, the tasks will start getting tracked. You can craft a drafted and a blank contract together to duplicate them too! And, contracts are fully nestable, so you can provide a quest chain by putting more contracts as rewards. !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/MkLZoL69/images/cbede3fafb6880c158019a10244ef3ab78256692.png) Extradimensional Legal Archive ------------------------------ This block lets you access a list of all currently-signed contracts. If one ever becomes uncompletable for whatever reason, the contract's signer can use this to break the contract, immediately failing it. Whenever a contract is failed, its drafter can also use this block to access and withdraw the contract item, letting you either give it to someone else, or retrieve the items! !(https://cdn.modrinth.com/data/MkLZoL69/images/0fbd074f043d5543ffb405488a530c267c73e41d.png) Chitinbound Bulb ---------------- The Chitinbound Bulb acts similarly to the Copper Bulb, with a special additional feature: contracts may be bound to bulbs! Upon completion, a contract will toggle its bound bulb, letting you trigger redstone upon completion of the contracts you've made! Available Tasks --------------- The following tasks are available by default, each with many different ways to customize and specify them, and new ones able to be added via datapack: * Abstain from having an item at all * Apply an item onto a block * Have a specific attribute value * Gain a potion effect * Buy an item from a villager * Cure a zombie villager * Eat an item * Escort a player to a structure or biome * Reach a certain level * Find a structure or biome * Give an item to someone * Go to a location * Interact with a block * Kill a specified entity * Kill the specified player * Stare at an entity * Place specific blocks in an area * Have a certain item in your inventory * Ride an entity * Gain a specified statistic * Tame an entity * Use an item on an entity * Have the drafter manually verify completion * Wear a specific item * Go fast Additionally, all tasks support use of tags in lieu of specific things! Datapacks --------- Chitinous Ties is fully data-driven! All player-choosable tasks are fully customizable in-datapack, allowing you to create whole new options with both vanilla and modded tasks! Internally, Chitinous Ties hooks into the Advancements system, so anything that can be defined as an advancement can be defined as a contract task. Latest documentation on the datapack format is available (https://git.lunabee.space/chitinous_ties/file/DATAPACKS.html), and also included in the DATAPACKS file in every jar. Commands -------- We currently have one command for you - `/chitin break` - used to break players' contracts by contract UUID. Requires permission level 2.
