# Description More Food is a lightweight Minecraft datapack & 16x16 resource pack combo designed to add a growing variety of new, craftable food & drinks items into your world—all without any bloat or complicated setups.

Built using item modifiers and custom model data on vanilla items, this pack introduces unique food/drink types with fully working crafting recipes directly in the crafting table, as well as custom item textures to go along with those items, no custom blocks or GUIs required. It's perfect for survival players looking to spice up their food options without breaking away from the vanilla experience.

The idea behind the datapack's current recipes and values is to rewards players for combining various items into a single meal, turning would what would usually be multiple uses/bites of the required ingredients into a one bite higher tier food item. An example would be how the burger is two pieces of bread and one cooked steak. It takes effort to get, and you could eat them separately, but if it were possible, why not combine them? This is why the burger's hunger and saturation restoration is better than all the cooked meats on their own. The stock buffs were balanced by factoring in the required materials to make it. We combined a fun feature with a useful one!

# Installation 1. Download the "More Food Items.zip" and drag it into your []/ folder. 2. Download the "More Food Texture.zip" and drag it into your folder, or merge it with your current resource pack on (https://weld.smithed.dev/) & then drag it into the folder. Installation is now complete.

# Compatibility Any datapacks using the same method that try to use the same item/item names will most certainly cause issues, other than that, this datapack will function with ANYTHING.

# FAQ ## Q: What are the plans for this pack? A: I plan to expand this datapack with more basic food items & drinks, as well as ones with effects.

## Q: I want to change or remove something in this pack? Can I? A: Yes. Removing an item from the pack is very easy, just by deleting the targeted item's .json within the more food pack. If you're looking to change hunger/sat values, just edit the json. If you're looking to add more items, that's gonna be on your own knowledge. Too complicated to shortly explain.

## Q: I make resource packs, can I make my own textures for items within the datapack? A: Yes, just create a subfolder within assets folder of your resource pack called , and then another subfolder in there called , and obviously match the png name to the item. You're also going to need a / to create override jsons for the texture replacement. If you wanna drag/drop them from our resource pack, that's fine.
