Squad Leader - Winter 'Schnee'

Hello, this and another Squad Leader are my first mods that I've published. Feedback is welcome! This SL is somewhat balanced unlike Leshiy. AI was used to tweak some of the art in a few of the perks.

Installation and Requirements

The mod was built on the Jiangyu framework and can be installed like any other Jiangyu mod through the Mod Manager which includes the ability to keep the relevant mod loaders up to date as well. As far as I am aware the Nexus Vortex Manager does not work with MENACE modkit and Jiangyu mods.

For manual installation you'll need to visit melonwiki.xyz (NOT melonloader.co or melon-loader.com) and use the installer then run the game once after installing melonloader.

Secondly, you'll want to go to github for the Jiangyu Loader and click on releases on the right side of the page and get the latest and unzip the dll into your MENACE/mods folder (should be generated after running the game with melonloader installed).

Thirdly, download this mod and simply unzip it in the same MENACE/mods folder and you're good to go!

Winter "Schnee" Kruger is made to be mostly lore-friendly-ish with several custom perks using existing game mechanics from other SLs. I did give her a custom head to be consistent with her platinum blonde hair as well.

Starting Perk - The Ice Queen

Is immune to death once per round. Grains +30 AP and +60% Critical Damage whenever she moves adjacent to an enemy unit once per round. Ignores suppression from losing squaddies.

Rank 1 - Rush the Breach!

A buffed version of Shoot and Scoot and made to work with infantry instead of vehicles. -8 AP Move cost after shooting or using an item.

Rank 1 - Full Bodied

+6 HP per squaddie. (note, her tree does not have Buff)

Rank 2 - Queen's Prerogative

Only one squaddie can be hit with explosions. 50% damage resistance bonus on Squad Leader.

Rank 3 - Short Squeeze

The same as Roisin Murdock's perk but with new description text.

Rank 3 - Iron Maiden

+15% accuracy and damage plus +30% critical damage when adjacent to a target. Grants counter attack.

Rank 4 - Overtime

Exactly the same as Roisin Murdock's perk with new description text.

Rank 4 - Heartless Bitch

+10% Damage and Discipline plus +5% Critical Chance and +50% Morale Damage for each enemy unit killed for the rest of combat with 3x stacks allowed. +10 AP is added permanently for the mission for each squaddie that dies in her squad.
